Fresh air, efficient heat recovery, reliable ventilation.
Norfolk Heat Pump Services provides servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs for Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems. Based in Sheringham, we cover homes and holiday properties across Norfolk.
MVHR brings filtered fresh air into your home while extracting stale, moist air and recovering heat. Regular maintenance helps keep the system clean, airflow consistent and ventilation working efficiently.
MVHR Servicing & Maintenance
Filters, fans and heat exchangers collect dust and debris over time, restricting airflow and affecting performance. Our servicing checks the condition and operation of your system and identifies any maintenance or repair needs.
Depending on the model and access, a service includes:
- Inspecting, cleaning or replacing filters as required.
- Inspecting and cleaning the heat exchanger in accordance with manufacturer guidance.
- Checking fans and cleaning accessible components.
- Checking the condensate drain and tray for blockages or leaks.
- Inspecting accessible ductwork, connections and insulation.
- Checking accessible external intake and exhaust terminals.
- Cleaning and inspecting room valves without disturbing their commissioned positions.
- Testing normal and boost operation.
- Reviewing controller settings, service reminders and fault messages.
MVHR Breakdowns & Repairs
Is your MVHR noisy, displaying a fault or providing little airflow? Contact us and we can arrange a visit to investigate the cause and repair.
Keep Your Ventilation Working Properly
A neglected MVHR system can contribute to poor air quality, lingering odours and excess moisture. Regular servicing helps maintain dependable ventilation and allows developing faults to be identified early.
Service and filter replacement intervals depend on the manufacturer’s guidance, system use and local conditions. We can advise on a suitable maintenance schedule for your property.
